Live Audio Description

Poetry. Beatbox. Celtic dubstep. Jasmine Gardosi, Birmingham’s Poet Laureate, is an award-winning spoken word artist, beatboxer and multiple slam champion of international renown.

Dancing to Music You Hate premiered to standing ovations, and was shortlisted twice for Best Spoken Word Show in the Saboteur Awards.

Fresh from a national tour, this enhanced edition returns to Birmingham, adapted for the festival with surprise special guests. Expect explosive dubstep bass-lines and soaring folk violin blowing apart the boundaries of gender and musical genre alike.

Five women in traditional Indian costumes pose with a drumming instrument.
